DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: We welcome Bachelor/ Master/ PhD degree holders in Art/Visual Art/Fine Art and Digital Art or a related field from an Anglophone university in an English-speaking country and a 120 hour minimum TESOL, TEFL or IELTS qualification. Two years demonstrable subject related teaching experience. Ability to teach years 10 to 12 university entrance level subjects like IBDP, A level, AP and also IGCSE level. Ability to teach extra curricular subjects like sports, cooking or crafts would be well regarded.
We are looking for candidates who are mature, reliable, experienced, flexible, cooperative and actually enjoy teaching high school students. Our students are preparing to go to university overseas. We currently have 7 foreign teachers on staff from Australia, South Africa, UK, Philippines, Singapore and the Russian Federation working with our 26 English speaking Chinese staff. The start date for this position is asap as semester starts September 6th. You may also apply for a mid - year start in February/ March 2019.
