The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking the project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverable. It might oversee many projects at the same time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan the project
2. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with management team (Mechanical, Electronic, Sales and Manufacturing engineer teams)
3. Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
4. Determine the resources (time, people, equipment, etc…) required to complete the project
5. Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
6. Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
7. Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
8. Ensure that all the documentation is properly maintained in our company’s system software.
Implementation of the project
1. Execute the project according to the project plan
2. Develop forms and records to document project activities
3. Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
4. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
5. Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
6. Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
7. After completion of the Project, make a report to inform all the stakeholders the final outcome.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 3 years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects at the same time. Outstanding grasp of electronic and mechanical knowledge concepts and processes. Good on managing and controlling the teams under his/her responsibility.
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electronic, Mechanical, computer science or related field.
3. Knowledge of LED technology preferred.
4. Office, Project, Visio, Internet and experience with any software to track task and monitor status of the project.
