We are looking for a career minded Staff Accountant to play a key role within the accounting group for a rapidly growing company. This position is ideal for a candidate that is looking to be a part of a busy, fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, a willingness to learn, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. This position will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including payables and receivables.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules
- General ledger reconciliation
- Month, Quarter and Year-end closings
- Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows for internal reporting.
- Analysis of financial statements
- Prepare necessary financial information to support business, audit and regulatory requests
- Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in accounting, or a Bachelors degree in business with emphasis in accounting, required
- At least 1-2 years work or internship experience required
- Must be analytical and detail oriented
- Must have advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure and within short deadlines
