Our Client is recognised as a World Class Global organization with offices on every Continent. With the substantial growth in its operations and the planned growth to be achieved, they seek innovative, solutions and technically astute Lead Telecoms Engineer for their Oil and Gas onshore project in China.


As Lead Telecoms Engineer, you will handle FEED and Detailed Design in plant telecoms for the hydrocarbons industry. you will work with the contractor and the engineering team to deliver fully on the expectations with quality and adherence to HSE. You will look at relevant design documentation, HAZID/HAZOP activities, review of design changes, CTRs and tracking of discipline manhours/productivity, attend and witness FAT if necessary, interface with authorities for telecommunications transmission equipment permission. You will also oversee telecommunications interface with construction contractors and installation coordination during the project construction/commissioning phase.

To qualify for this role, you should be a tertiary qualified Electrical/Telecom Engineer with a good 10 years experience in plant telecom engineering for Oil&Gas/Hydrocarbon projects. Experience in FEED and Detailed Design is a must, with 5 years experience in a lead role.

Candidates with international and major project background, and who are able to speak CHINESE will be highly regarded.
