At Blue Ocean Network we are currently seeking to employ a full time Creative Editor to take the lead in developing a range of promotional content together with high-quality program packaging for our Cable/Satellite channel (Time Warner Cable/Dish Network/Verizon and more), BON TV.

The role involves supporting productions departments, utilizing available content, and creating graphics for on-air promos, sizzle reels, bumps, general channel packaging, and epks. You will also be managing network promos, coordinating graphics and promo work with major US television networks, while working in tandem with BON's Editor-in-Chief.

It is also vital that you have the ability to coordinate with our website editor and web design team with graphics materials and creative format planning, so some knowledge of creative website design will be advantageous.

To be considered for this exciting and important role you will have experience in a number of the following media packages, including: Final Cut Studio, FileMaker, Avid, Edius, Sony Vegas, Now Contact, After Effects Adobe Creative Suite, Combustion Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Compressor, Sorenson Squeeze;

You will also possess a strong understanding of digital media formats, file compression standards and the following video tape formats: HDCam, DVCPro HD, Digibeta Sony HDV, Beta SP, DVCAM and/or Mini DV.
