App-Ark is seeking creative people with a desire to work in international education to join our team. As an Education Consultant, you will help students build stronger communication abilities for their application process as well as their future experiences living in the United States. In addition to one-on-one mentorship, you will also have opportunities to join collaborative projects ranging from marketing campaigns to designing original workshops.
As an Education Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
Individually mentoring students for academic and personal development
Coordinating with teammates to discuss and realize students’ target goals
Meeting with students to brainstorm essay topics and prepare for interviews
Introducing students to American culture and society
Writing articles for App-Ark’s periodic subscription on topics related to the college experience
Other opportunities, such as preparing social and academic courses and workshops for students based on your academic and/or personal interests

Job Requirements:
A positive attitude and a willingness to empathize with students of all levels
Native-level command of English
Chinese proficiency is not required, but it is a plus
B.A. or B.S. from an accredited US university or college
A flexible attitude
Conflict resolution skills and the ability to give and receive constructive criticism
Be engaging. Be interesting.
