Job Purpose
The Mock Class Team Communication Specialist is mainly responsible for ensuring effective and efficient daily communication with Mock Class Mentors through multiple communication channels, managing Mock Class Team’s official newsletters and forum postings, as well as building and monitoring online social groups to provide ongoing support for Mock Class Mentors.

Mock Class is a joint part of teacher recruiting and teacher training process in VIPKID. All teacher applicants who apply to teach with VIPKID have to go through the Mock Class stage to prove themselves qualified to be a VIPKID teacher. Mock Class, which is designed to simulate a real classroom environment, offers a chance for teacher applicants to mock teach with one of VIPKID’s Mock Class Mentors and earn constructive feedback regarding their teaching approaches. Mock Class Team is responsible for maintaining effective and efficient operation of a large group of Mock Class Mentors that are ever increasing in number.

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Understand Mock Class workflow and Mock Class team daily work schedule. Have a clear and accurate grasp of Mock Class daily operational tasks and responsibilities.
2. Manage the daily workflow of Mock Class Team’s official Email box, respond to Mock Class Mentors’ emails in a timely fashion.
3. Write and publish Mock Class Team’s official newsletters and forum postings.
4. Organize online meetings for Mock Class Mentors, create/publish meeting notes and maintain file archiving.
5. Build and monitor online social groups to provide ongoing support for Mock Class Mentors, facilitate online-community-based activities for Mock Class Mentors to increase Mock Class Mentors’ community engagement and attachment.

Requirements

 Excellent oral and written proficiency in English.
 Strong content creating and editing capabilities.
 Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and skills in social media group & online community management.
 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and displays a professional demeanor at all times.
 Ability to properly prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously.
 Ability to maintain VIPKID company standards.
