Job description
The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the corporate HR team with a wide range of projects related to international HR compliance, international recruiting, expatriate support, employee onboarding/orientation, employee communication and talent development. Some of these responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Support in the review or development of international HR policies and processes
- Conduct HR research on country labor laws, standards and practices
- Assist in international and local recruitment and orientation, with opportunities to participate in campus recruitment events
- Provide HR administrative support to HR managers and international expatriates
- Provide support on various HR communications projects, such as to write and edit copy and engage in social media and other forms of employee outreach
- Support talent development initiatives, such as to provide planning and administrative support training programs
- Assist in other departmental and organizational projects as needed and as assigned

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program with a concentration in a relevant business major and an interest in Human Resource Management or Communications.
- Demonstrates excellent English communication skills including listening, written and verbal. Chinese mandarin proficiency preferred by not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of MS-Office suite of software applications, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with a desire to learn more.
- Demonstrates willing to work with a wide diversity of people with different personalities and backgrounds
- Demonstrates an eagerness to learn and take direction with a very positive attitude
- Professional demeanor is necessary
