Responsibilities:
Now hiring Construction Project Managers with prior experience in overseeing and managing the construction of automotive plant facilities & utilities.
Large-scale construction management experience desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Expert background in implementing Project Management controls tools and techniques on site
• Lead project from start to project completion. Be responsible for the completion of projects within negotiating of contract, assembling project team, identifying appropriate resource needed, controlling budgetary and scheduling, and ensuring project deliverables
• Be responsible for project quality, program, cost and safety management
• Regularly observe project team performance and provide right working guidance
• Generate any solution for project delay or quality, and other design / construction activities to be mended.
• Quality delivery of services to achieve Launch milestones will be a primary deliverable for this assignment
• Monitor and supervise project teams associated with the projects

REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidates should have the ability and/or desire to support projects in China / Worldwide.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors on project site.
• Shall be fully experienced in managing complex programs, leading project teams of engineers, liaising positively with client organization, and communicating effectively to achieve a flawless launch.
• Should have experience in mentoring project teams to reach their potential.
• Ability to develop, maintain and produce reports on project cost forecast, budget/actual for building and utilities investments relating to Engineering, Construction and Materials.
• Experienced in change order tracking and management, and avoiding future claims.
• Background in vendor contract management, including control and protection of cost, schedule, quality and change management.
• Able to implement change management process and approval protocol for engineering and construction changes including follow up on documentation and executive reporting.

• Excellent English & Chinese speaking and communications skills
• Drive for results, e.g. overcoming roadblocks & supporting team synergy
• Business acumen and capability to understand commercial, procurement and logistic issues
• Must be highly-motivated and have excellent team working skills
• Enthusiasm for product excellence
• Willingness to travel as necessary
• History of excellent teamwork habits.
• Robust experience in producing effective reports (written & graphical content).
• Ability to multi-task; analytical thinking.
• Proactive and positive characteristics in dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Self-motivated to ensure excellence in work deliverables.
• Process-driven approach to solving consulting challenges.
• Sound computing skills in MS Office, MS Project, Outlook. Prior experience with Primavera or AutoCAD also helpful.
• Flexible working hours and ability to work on a variety of customer sites.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management; or corresponding related career experience.
Certified National Construction Project Manager / PMP are preferable.
Experience:
Over 10 or more years’ experience in construction project management of large-scale facilities.
Over 5 years’ experience of active participation in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering Program Management
Experience of Team leadership or Launch Team, desirable
Knowledge/experience of Automotive Industry
