We are looking for motivated professionals to join our growing crisis team to provide mobile crisis services to children and adults in Kennebec and Somerset Counties. Crisis Workers are mental health emergency responders, who provide support and intervention to adults and children experiencing a crisis event. Workers are trained to provide risk-assessment and intervention for clients in locations including, but not limited to, the client's home, correctional facilities, school and other community services sites, and Emergency Departments. Workers must qualify to be credentialed at a MHRT CSP level (must have a minimum of an associates degree and be able to successfully complete an 8 week paid training which is a combination of class time and job shadowing/hands on experience).

Currently hiring for mid-day/evening shifts and overnight shifts. Differentials of $1 - $3 added to base hourly rate.

Requirements

A minimum of an Associates Degree, Bachelors preferred. Social Service experience preferred, but will train the right candidate who possesses compassion for clients and their families, an ability to interact professionally with community providers, law enforcement, and ER staff. Candidates must flourish in a fast paced environment, to assist clients who are at risk. Must hold a valid drivers license in good standing and pass background checks.

Education

Minimum of one of the following requirements:

1.) Bachelor's degree in a social services related field and one year of relevant experience.

2.) Associates degree in a social services related field with three years of relevant experience.
