The course is Conversation or Oral English.
The students are college students, aging from 17-21. They have been learning English since grade one in primary school or earlier. They have learned most sentence structures, most grammatical rules, and have around 2000-3000 vocabulary.
There is no text book .For each semester we will supply some topics for the teacher to choose, but the teacher is free to use his or her own topics.
The number of students in each class is 20-30.
The students are generally eager to learn, hard- working and friendly to teachers.
Each teaching hour is 45 minutes, and two teaching hours is one class with a 10- minute break in between.
All the classes are on weekdays and no office hours. For teachers’ convenience, we normally arrange each teacher’s classes in 3 or 4 days, to leave 3 or 4 off days(including the weekends) for the teacher.
The workload is 16 teaching hours per week. The salary and benefits are: salary: CNY5000-5500 per month.
