Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop highly creative concept design and development.
2. Development of strategically aligned workplace concepts.
3. Client presentation and negotiations with pitch team, adding creative value and edge.
4. Team building and mentoring junior designers to assist them in realizing their full potential.
5. Involvement in industry bodies, attending functions and building networks.
6. Continual research and communication of global trends and benchmark design.
7. Be integral in determining standards for project development.
8. Work directly with senior management to develop major business initiatives.

Qualifications/Experience:
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
2. 8 + years of experience as an interior designer, ideally office space experience
3. Strong knowledge of the design process
4. Outstanding graphic presentation skills
5. Previous experience of managing and developing a team of designers.
6. Software skills to include AutoCad & SketchUp as well as knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
7. Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.
8. Ability to work well in a multi-cultural, multi lingual team environment.
9. Understand and communicate design ideas and give direction quickly.
10. Proven successful track record of selling concept and design and winning projects in a highly competitive market.
