Job Description
Position Description: Assist clients in devising an application strategy to maximize chances of being accepted into a US top tier institution.
Location: Hangzhou
Salary: Negotiable

Job Requirements
• Broad knowledge and experience in applications to US top tier educational institutions
• Excellent skills in written English, proofreading, editing, planning and time management
• Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability in having a sharp eye for detail and strong sense of intiative
• General knowledge of US Top Universities, US education system, Chinese contemporary culture
• Experience in university applications, essay writing, proofreading essays,
• Other: Must be a native speaker of English preferably born and raised in the US. Applicants who are non-native speakers and not able to converse in Chinese (written and spoken) will be considered on a discretionary basis
Education and Experience
• Ideally looking for humanities graduates, particularly in linguistics, literature or Chinese.
• Years of experience: 0-5 Years
• Desirable skills: Chinese language, teaching, proofreading, editing
Main Duties and Responsibilities
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic team in assisting Chinese high school and undergraduate students to apply to US top tier universities.
Duties:
Collaborate with Chinese staff in giving students advice on which schools they are best suited to apply to according to their conditions and requirements
Give one-on-one tuition and guidance on how to write high-quality university application essays, resumes and recommendation letters, including proofreading and editing student’s errors
Give one-on-one interview training
Plan and run staff training workshops regarding the US university application process, university admission requirements, US education system etc
Assist in planning and participating in education conventions
