About The Role
Role Location: ANZ Shanghai
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
As the Senior Finance Officer, you will assist in meeting local regulatory reporting requirements. You will be responsible for the preparation of regulatory reporting returns and the delivery of supporting work papers. You will ensure the delivery of accurate, reliable, and timely financial information and will have accountability for the integrity of the work delivered.
Your accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Compliance with statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements
- Prepare month-end journal adjustments
- Prepare branch level and part of overall China level reports
- Have strong analysis skill on branch financial performance, coordination, preparation and submission for PBOC deposit insurance report
- Foreign Currency deposit reserve calculation and submission to PBOC
- Ensuring that regulator requests and queries are addressed in a timely manner
- Working effectively and have strong time management skill
- Good team spirit and create new relationship with stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
- Significant years of professional experience in Finance roles
- Familiarity with local regulatory reporting requirements
- Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated planning, coordinating, and prioritisation skills
- Strong initiative and a proactive attitude to meet commitments
- Ability to undertake additional responsibilities that add value
