In charge of import/export Customs related affairs, including performance of Customs clearance broker management, declaration data accuracy insurance, internal trade compliance process setting and monitoring, Customs policy update;

To be responsible for the performance of Global forwarding to ensure on time delivery of inbound/outbound shipments.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be responsible on import/export daily operation to make sure import/export lead time meet target;

Deal with Customs’ ad hoc challenge/issue and assist on significant Customs challenge/audit/investigation;

Support on cross-functional cooperation in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations in veterinary industry;

Support to set and monitor internal process trade compliance control points;

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of declaration master data;

Follow up & put in place of any latest policy/regulations published by the Customs;

Standardize China import/export (HTS codes, etc.);

Handle Customs/CIQ system application & database maintenance where needed;

Build up effective communication with Customs, CIQ and keep a good relationship with government authorities to enhance the company reputation properly;

Provide consultant to other business teams on Customs & CIQ regulations;

Monitor and ensure the KPI of brokers and carriers and set regular review system;

Feedback the quality log on shipping error case and work out the solution with China/US logistics team;

Other duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

7+ years of related experience with at least 5 years in an international logistics, transport, customs, or trade department/function.

Demonstrated excellence in working with external consultants and service providers, and in supporting cross-functional teams in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations in veterinary industry;

Good knowledge for the operation process for import handling as well as the documentation compliance;

Good English capabilities in listening, writing and speaking;

Strong computer skills with Microsoft including Word, Excel and Power-Point.

High willingness to take new challenge and work under pressure

SAP experience is a plus.
