Cisco Collaboration Product Ops is currently seeking talented Senior Supply Chain Program Manager who is inspired by Agile methodology, understands design for cloud and is comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment. This position will be a role supporting the next generation design of UCEBU products (UC Endpoints).
The SCPM (Supply Chain Program Manager) is responsible for helping ensure a successful launch of Cisco's products! The SCPM works cross-functionally to ensure the development and deployment of a supply chain strategy that meets the NPI project's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
High Level SCPM Responsibilities:
The SCPM will be accountable for:
- Designing Supply Chain strategies to maximize collaboration specific fulfillment goals throughout the lifecycle of the product. Analyzing supply chain issues, formulates solutions and proposals, and communicates plans and status in an executive manner.
- Driving supply chain readiness. Prepares the supply chain and manages continuity of material supply, delivery and quality ensuring no shortages, delays or quality issues from proto to FCS.
- Driving end to end cost management, cost savings and margin management, utilizing appropriate resources and influences sourcing and fulfillment strategies to achieve optimal product cost
- Executing against risk management between proto and FCS through end of life.
- Managing and ensuring a smooth product transition from NPI to sustaining.
- Managing supplier performance and team expectations by proactively driving suppliers to meet or exceed committed performance.
- Engaging with the CDO product team prior to concept commit to review RFQ.
- Key Interfaces: Product Ops team, BU Engineering team, BU Marketing, MPM team, CE team, GSM team
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with Cost Management, and Supply Chain Management.
- Must have background in a Manufacturing or Operations Management.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and negotiation skill needed.
- Understands all elements of product cost; validates the integrity of supplier quotes and forward costing; able to clearly articulate the main cost drivers, cost reduction and cost avoidance activities.
- Excellent influencing skills.
- Meeting Facilitation is a must.
- Strong global program/project management background, including engagement with multiple geographic theaters.
- New Product Introduction Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
- Experience in High Tech Telecommunications/Networking industry strongly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or Masters level degree desired).
