Job Description

Position Summary:

The position is required to manage end to end supply chain process from Supply/Demand planning of automotive products to customer order& delivery management. Working with cross functional teams and external customers and suppliers including 3rd party warehouses to fulfill our OEM customers’ requirements on supply chain. The individual will report to manager of Supply Chain Group in China.

Job Responsibilities/Deliverable:

1.Material management

  • Monitor and maintain material master data in ERP system and planning system to ensure the component demand drive properly and timely.
  • Manage material phase in/phase out and cutover for material changes.

2.Supply and demand planning from prototype phase until EOL.

  • Manage demand and supply planning on parts produced from internal/external vendors to ensure smooth and safe supply to end customers.
  • Service demand planning and fulfillment.

3.Day-to-day Purchasing operations

  • Release purchase orders, track shipments end-to-end movement and manage external supplier to fulfill purchase requirements.
  • Support engineers on prototype orders release and procurement.

4.Customer order and delivery

  • Manage customer forecast analysis and update in ERP system, create customer order and delivery. Manage on time outbound delivery to customers.
  • Manage customer communication on demand change, delivery requirements and urgent solutions if necessary.
  • Work with 3PL warehouses to solve all inbound/outbound delivery issues. Track and improve 3PL warehouse operation performance.
  • Collaborate with cross functions to fulfill customer supply chain requirements including package submission, capacity survey and logistics audit etc.

5.Inventory management

  • Responsible for material movements among plants
  • Monitor stock coverage and surplus inventory analysis to achieve inventory goal, solve inventory discrepancy, cycle count and scrap activities.

6.Other logistics activities support

  • Support TS16949 auditing activities.
  • Support supply chain projects/lean projects.
  • Support other tasks manager assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Experience in overall supply chain operation (International and domestics logistics, material planning, customer delivery, 3PL management)
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP system operation (SAP is preferable)
  • Self-Starter, Teamwork, communication skills
  • Responsibility and patience
  • Reactiveness and full accountability on details of whole supply flow

Qualification, Education and Experiences:

  • More than 5 years strong experience in the supply planning, automotive industry is preferred.
  • English skill (English skill CET4/6) or the equivalent level of communication ability in English
  • Bachelor’s degree, operation or supply chain preferred.
