Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and support all aspects of the Manufacturing systems / Applications primarily the MES systems and supporting applications
• Diagnose and troubleshoot local / remote manufacturing application related issues.
• Implement and maintain manufacturing process flows within the MES
• system
• Facilitate the testing of New process flows, Updates existing flows
• Analyzes MES system performance.
• Interfaces with End Users to understand the manufacturing process requirements
• Document changes and procedures, including process flows & configuration data
• Willing to provide out of hours support on a Rota basis
• Working with Remote sites providing support to manufacturing applications
• Working with remote Engineers to capturing MES requirements
• Provide MES Related data as requested
• Develop Reports for the Business User

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with MES systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field
• CCNP certified.
• Good working experience of UNIX systems Good working experience of Windows OS systems
• Good working experience of Oracle database systems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication, customer support and interpersonal skills
• Good English Skills ( Written & Oral )
• Adhere to professional and ethical at all times.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for IS support
• Perform 24x7 advanced tier troubleshooting, including off-hour maintenance activities, problem resolution, etc.
• Familiar with ITIL process is a plus
• Understanding of how the manufacturing validation process runs in relation to complex new products that stretch across various engineer teams and manufacturing centers/factories (methodology, validation plans, associated KPIs)
• Great understanding of design for manufacturability, process design, process validation, and assembly methods
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings or CAD models
• Strong interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of an organization.
• Able to effectively and confidently communicate to senior and executive level leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Well versed with common workplace software (word processor, spreadsheet, database, etc).
• Excellent organizational skills Able to be a creative thinker and devise creative solutions to complicated problems
• Excellent problem solving skills; adverse in various problem solving methodologies
• Team player; ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams
