Color Grading is an important artistic piece of the post-production process. Colorists are creative partners, bringing a clients' vision to life through the language of color. They craft the look of a film, which sets the tone for the overall story. MPC provides access to the world’s finest color grading talent trough MPC Color as a major, global department with MPC Advertising.

Overview:

We are looking for a Producer to join the team in MPC Shanghai, to work alongside the Producer of Color and our Shanghai based Colorists to help expand on existing relationships within the advertising industry. This individual must have good production skills, a strong new business sensibility and some post production knowledge. We are looking for someone with a genuine enthusiasm to present MPC's outstanding color projects to potential clients in the China.

Reporting to the Color Producer, Associate Color Producer will plan, design, manage and execute project schedules for the Color team and coordinate resources with the production team.

Associate Color Producer will be responsible for managing prep and delivery of jobs, managing assets and assists the Color Producer to manage the Colorists’ schedules and projects. Positive team player who proactively supports the MPC Color team to deliver projects on time and at or under cost, and ensure resources are available to ensure client satisfaction with delivery times.

Role Responsibilities:

• Project Management (includes working independently and collaboratively with scheduling, bid creation, actuals and costing)
• Data Management (wrangling producer requests, obtaining prep for sessions, managing client deliverables), knowledge of offline editorial process also an advantage
• Client Communications (managing confirmations & challenges directly with Clients, handling session supervision, managing post-session follow up & invoicing)
• Coordinating Remote Grading and manage Reels Customization for specific projects
• Responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing new business presentations, pitches and reels
• Development of new client relationships and successfully maintaining existing relationships
• Keeping up to speed with the industry, competitors and new work coming out

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a Producer role
• Excellent communication, people skills, and team working skills
• Capacity to manage a busy workload with high productivity
• Solid understand of editorial and color grading workflows
• High attention to detail
• Experience of presenting reels and pitching
• Excellent working knowledge of the advertising production industry
• Good working knowledge of bidding and scheduling
• Good Excel and Word skills
