Sales

Become the essential connection between our clients and the technologies that help them expand the size of their businesses and become more profitable. As a Sales professional at Microsoft, you’ll work closely with the sales teams which serve as the human face of our multi-billion-dollar global company. You will become a trusted counsellor who inspires consumer enthusiasm and guides enterprise clients to make shrewd technology decisions that are in the best interests of their companies.

Job Content/Job Description:

The Sales role is the primary sales contact for a territory and it is a strategic sales role intended to add value to customers by demonstrating how Microsoft technology can help solve operational concerns and positively impact the customer’s business or organization.

The Sales role performs this role primarily by developing relationships and uncovering opportunities from customers by face to face, phone, email, IM or social networking.

The successful Sales role thrives in a fast-paced selling environment, cares deeply about the customer, and uncovers opportunities by attention to detail, consistent engagement and an ability to co-sell with Microsoft partners in his/her geography.

Technical Sales

Technology Solution Professional
Dive deep into Microsoft technologies as a trusted advisor to our Account Managers. You'll work with both business and technical decision-makers in a pre-sales and sales capacity. In this exciting role, you will be accountable for product win rates by proving the value of one or more products to our many customers and partners. Your ability to help nurture technical relationships with partners, product teams, solution specialists, Microsoft Consulting and others will be critical. If you’re looking for contributing both as a technical and business resource for broad and complex issues related to specific products and technologies, this role is the perfect fit for you.

Account Technology Strategist
Enable the Business & IT goals of our Customers, by delivering Business value with the Microsoft Platform, thus securing long-term Sustainable Growth for Microsoft. You will be able to gather 360° Customer insight of IT Technology profile, and Partner and Competitive landscape. You will make contribution to build Trusted Technology Relationships with Technical Decision Makers, incl. the CIO, CTO and their direct reports, and IT-Pro’s. Your efforts in developing a long-term Business-to-IT Strategy & Deployment Roadmap, while orchestrating Microsoft and Partner Resources are critical to us. You will be also responsible for driving growth by Competitive Displacement, initiating capability-led (IO) conversations, supporting Solution Selling engagements, and leveraging the Microsoft Account Planning and MSSP Process. If you are looking for contributing both Business & IT and would like to know in-depth customer’s IT environment, this position is perfect fit for you.

Qualifications

Sales:
  • Will graduate before June, 2019 preferred
  • Pursuing a B.A., B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Able to qualify sales opportunities and position MS partners in the overall sales process.

Technical Sales:
  • Pursuing a B.A., B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Will graduate before June, 2019 preferred
  • Microsoft product certification or MCSE is preferred
  • Technical pre-sales experience preferred
  • Exceptional communications skills and an ability to formulate and articulate value points around complex product and solution opportunities.
