Job Description

Overview of job:

You will oversee management of client content activity, with a focus on generating innovative content solutions. You will deliver creative development, sales and production of branded entertainment projects to the client, and provide planning team support for the client, client account teams, content development teams, and 3rd party content vendors and broadcasters.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:
  • Content product and process materials mastered
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationships established
  • 3 original creative content proposals pitched to the client

In six months, you would have:

  • Central authority for content pipeline activity established
  • 1 original creative content proposal confirmed by the client
  • Content measurement standards established

In 12 months, you would have:

  • 1 ‘hot market’ content workshop delivered to the client
  • 2 case videos produced, 2 award entries submitted
  • Client satisfaction scores exceed measurement standard

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop original creative ideas for branded entertainment projects
  • Deliver a creative POV on brand sponsorship of existing IP
  • Know the China entertainment market inside and out
  • Understand and communicate client brand positioning to project teams
  • Manage portfolio of client content accounts and all related activities
  • Interface with producers, directors, writers, actors
  • Nurture business relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
  • Monitor performance of content projects and creative deliverables
  • Personally design entertaining PPT presentations to drive communication

What you will need:

  • Bi-lingual, fluent in Chinese and excellent English
  • Creative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to marry innovative ideas with commercial aptitude
  • Proven manager of client relationships
  • Proven manager of internal stakeholder relationships
  • Efficient at managing the execution of many fine details within a content project
  • Successful ad agency experience in some mix of creative, branding, media, digital, social, PR
  • Successful entertainment experience such as Film, TV, Online, Events, Music, Sports, Social
  • Cool under pressure, to accept assignment travel.
