About the Position
This position would be filled prior to the opening of the new taproom to assist in the hiring and staffing of the new location.
The 20-tap Tap Room will provide offerings of Daredevil’s current six distributed beers as well as a variety of experimental and one-off beers. While our longer-term plans include an on-site kitchen we will initially offer local fare and host food trucks daily as well as allow guests to bring in food from outside restaurants.

The 150 square meters. the microbrewery is expected to be full of guests, particularly on weekends, weekday evenings, and for special events. In addition, the taproom includes an additional 50 sq. mt. of outside seating and lawn area that will be used during good weather from the spring to fall.

A primary goal of the taproom is to provide a positive environment for our guests and community to not only sell our craft beer but to provide an informative and educational experience for people to better understand how craft beer is made, the history of craft beer and the positive impact of the craft beer community.


Position Summary: Responsible for co-worker team development of +10 part and full-time co-workers, profitable growth, and enhanced customer experience.

¥ Maintain a welcoming, educational, exciting and inviting experience 

¥ Manage Tap Room guest satisfaction and overall brewery visitor experience 
Co-worker team development
¥ Manage Tap Room co-worker schedule and staffing needs 

¥ Manage brewery human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and 
counseling Tap Room staff; communicating job expectations 

¥ Maintain a safe, healthy and sustainable tap room environment 

¥ Exceed guest expectations of Daredevil Brewing Co 
Profitable growth 

¥ Meet Tap Room financial objectives as they relate to overall brewery goals 

¥ Manage Tap Room budget 

¥ Manage inventory and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs 

¥ Analyze trends on visitors, events, beer, food, and merchandise 
Essential Job Requirements Education 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or applicable work experience
Experience/Skills
¥ Knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry 

¥ Cicerone Certification desired or willing to achieve certification 

¥ 5 years minimum bar/restaurant, brewery/winery, retail management 

¥ Purchasing, inventory controls, marketing, and budgetary controls 

¥ Knowledge and experience with Restaurant POS System 

¥ Skills and experience in verbal communication and customer focus, 

¥ Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and events 

¥ Excellent customer service, interpersonal and proven leadership skills

Compensation will be based on experience.
