TopSchools is now recruiting an IB PYP (Grade 4-6) Teacher for an IB PYP World School located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province (3 hours to Shanghai) which requires candidates to be on board in Aug 2019.

Requirements:
1. Bachelors’ degree or above, candidates with appropriate teaching qualifications are preferred; 2. Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the relevant subject;
3. Have PYP or similar inquiry-based, hands-on teaching experience;
4. Be computer literate and skillful in using ICT as a learning tool;
5. Be competent using differentiated teaching techniques;
6. Have experience teaching non-native English speaking students; and, 7. Have experience teaching in multicultural class;
7. PSPE/Art lessons teaching experience preferred;

Candidates should:
1. Love children and have a caring personality;
2. Have experience with Chinese/Asian culture and/or be open-minded;
3. Be creative and energetic in class;
4. Be flexible and able to take on a variety of roles and responsibilities;
5. Be organized, efficient team players;
6. Happily offer meaningful After-School Activities and/or Extra Curricular Activities; 7. Be able to balance the high demands of work with recreational pursuits.

Job description:
1. Work as a homeroom teacher of mixed-level primary class following the IBPYP system;
2. Finish school duties, such as recess duty;
3. Communicate with parents about students’ study process regularly;
4. Teach in a grades combined class (Grade 4-6);
5. Other tasks assigned by the principal.

Salary and Benefits:
1. RMB 15,000 to 20,000 per month (tax free) based on experience and qualifications
