Teachers Required for Wonderland International Education in Kaiping, Jiangmen City, Guangdong, China
Teach English in a growing private language school/academy with an exciting, fun, and innovative approach to English classes. Your students will range from pre-kindergarten to 14 years old. Accommodation and an allowance towards flights is provided by the school. The principal of the school has lived and worked in the United States and looks forward to welcoming new teachers to China, and supporting them in their lives in Kaiping.
Duties and Responsibilities
40 hour, 5-day week, with a flexible mix of teaching and office hours as required. Lessons take place on weekends but teachers receive two weekdays off.
Lessons follow an established curriculum provided by the company comprising local and internationally published materials.
A professional approach to work and enthusiasm for the job is expected. Teachers assume responsibility for the safety and security of students during lessons. Candidates should display proper time management and adherence to an agreed work schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements
Fluent English with natural pronunciation
Bachelors degree or above in any major
TEFL qualifications, such as CELTA or DELTA, are not essential for this position but are a plus. English teaching experience, especially teaching young learners is not essential but are a plus.
Chinese Z-visa documents should be ready – support is available where required.
The candidates should enjoy the challenges of teaching young learners and be aware of the special requirements required to teach learners of this age. These include patience, creativity, an active approach, flexibility, and above all, enthusiasm.
Candidates should have strong communication skills and be prepared to be a team player in our new and ambitious school.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: 10000-15000/month
Flight allowance: 3000rmb/yr
Working days and hours: 40 hours over a 5-day week
Days off/holidays: 2 weekdays/week, Winter Holidays, National Holidays
Accommodation: Own apartment provided (photos can be provided for interview phase applicants)
One free meal is provided during working hours
Company training and annual team company travel
