As a Software/Embedded Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the software components of a system to test and demonstrate features of FPGA/CPLD accelerate card, FPGA/CPLD development kits and demonstration boards. The work will require both FPGA-based software design development and PC-based application development for status and control of FPGA-based hardware designs using new technologies present in Intel/Altera's FPGA devices such as external memory, transceivers, and other application specific interfaces. You should possess strong software development skills of embedded system and application development, enjoy learning new technologies, and work in an environment where they contribute directly to the success of the business.


Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• Experience in Board Support Package (BSP) development and device driver development for HW platforms based on Embedded Cores such as ARM

• Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and other high speed serial IO protocols

• Good knowledge of Embedded system and/or RTOS application skills, Knowledge of one or more RTOS like Embedded Linux or uCOS-II

• Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills

• Proficient Java/C++ programming skills, strong development experiences in desktop GUI using Java, C++ is a plus.

• Development experiences in MCTP/PLDM protocol, Platform accelerate card system solution or system security solution is a plus.

• Development experiences based on NIOS II platform  is a plus

• Experience in scripting languages Python, Perl, and Tcl is a plus
