Job Description:
We are currently looking for experienced PYP teachers for various subjects. Roles and responsibilities include the following:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons according to IB framework
2. Ensure course material and syllabus are up to date
3. Monitor, assess and record students’ learning progress
4. Communicate with parents and ensure they are aware of their children’s progress
5. Supervise classroom activities
6. Participate in parent meetings, department meeting and professional development activities

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above required
2. IB PYP training certificate/past IB PYP teaching experiences is an asset
3. Dedicated educator, love for children and willing to learn more about Chinese culture
4. Able to design course material and unit plan independently and collaboratively (with program coordinator and the teachers)
5. Able to develop/design course material and unit plan with an integration of Chinese curriculum
6. Able to incorporate lessons/activities focusing on developing students’ social and emotional capacities
7. Able to create active and inquiry-based teaching and learning in the classroom (applicants with a background in Science is an asset)
8. Able to evaluate students based on learning standards
9. Able to adhere to the school professional regulations

Benefits:
1. Salary: RMB18,000 per month before taxes
2. Housing: RMB2,000 monthly stipend
3. Two-way airfare reimbursement against actual expense receipt, up to RMB8,000 per year
