A. Responsibilities:
- Management responsibility for the entire purchasing, procurement and supplier chain（warehouse） of plant
- Designing the purchasing strategy (number of suppliers, contracting strategies, make or buy, dual sourcing, etc.)
- Performing the purchasing of the allocated classes of goods for investment goods, equipment and services
- Tendering
- Requesting proposals
- Analysis and evaluation of proposals, creation of price comparisons
- Selection, assessment and management of suppliers and service providers
- Negotiating prices and payment terms with suppliers
- Creation and conclusion of master contracts
- Monitoring and analysis of the procurement market
- Planning and introduction of new sources of supply
- Acceptance of goods and their incoming inspection (ensuring the quality of procured materials)
- Supplier audits and claim management
- Master data maintenance for goods and suppliers, and monitoring the scheduling by means of an ERP system
- Interface with Germany

B. Requirements
- University degree in business administration or suitable equivalent technical qualification in purchasing
- Experience in the composition of a manufacturing company in China
- A minimum of 10 years on-the-job experience in purchasing, including subject-related and disciplinary leadership of skilled workers and executives
- Confident knowledge of local Chinese law terms
- Pronounced intercultural management expertise
- IT skills: SAP, MS Office
- Languages: Chinese (native speaker), English
