YouCH EDU is an international school-service company based in Shanghai, which is committed to K-12 international school service and youth academic development. YouCH is currently working with Shanghai International Studies University and Columbia University Teachers College for academic supports. It' is also the first and only K-12 education brand of Shanghai International Studies University Education Group.
YouCH is founded by a team of experts in the area with K-12 schools in East and South China, including school principals, school operation officers, school academic deans, senior teachers, college professors, and international education investors. We have being working with K-12 schools in East and South China, helping with their international curriculum development and teachers professional development and evaluation since our establishment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT PACKAGE

(Salaries and benefit packages are subject to individual school pay scales, which take into account relevant experience and qualifications)

• Paid working permit and medical check-up fees
• Accommodation: furnished apartment or housing allowance
• Flight reimbursement: 5,000-10,000RMB (school determinant)
• Medical insurance
• Paid summer and winter holidays
• Paid national holidays
• Airport pickup + relocation assistance

• English teaching basic salary range: 15,000-25,000 RMB/month (depending on one's teaching experience)


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 23-60 years of age
• 2 years ESL and/-or middle school teaching experience minimum
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education/English Literature/social studies preferred)
• Native English
• TEFL/TESOL certification minimum (CELTA/DELTA/PGCE/QTS preferred)
• Have an understanding and ability to teach pupils of differing competencies
• Previous experience in an international school preferred
• Must be able to obtain a cleared background check



CORE PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the classroom teaching objectives(teaching Literature and/-or Social Sciences), making use of core teaching resources and supplementary materials.
• Working on campus according to teaching schedule
• Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Teaching Hours: 15-18 hours per week.
• Assess and analyse student progress to inform instruction and provide constructive feedback to promote students’ progress towards standards.
• Respect, appreciate and understand differences in learning and school culture.
• Participate in a culture of professional learning.
• Respect school rules and work cooperatively with fellow-staff members and administrators as it pertains to specific grade levels and programs.
• Respect China’s religious policy, and do not conduct religious activities incompatible with Chinese regulations; Respect Chinese moral standards and customs
• Be accountable and a positive advocate for all management decisions.
• Attend staff meetings, teacher workdays and professional development activities as assigned or recommended.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities on a regular basis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Head of Department.
