Job Description
Role Summary:
Position will serve as the local owner for Shannon site for the assigned supplier (s) and product lines. These responsibilities include the material shortage following up , communication and execution of strategies to build long-term relationships to ensure capacity exceeds demand requirements with complex supply chain.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Overall ownership of purchase order execution and product delivery, including placement of on-time schedule agreements, mitigation of billing adjustments / terminations and execution of cost reduction goals. Working cross functionally with planning and production teams to expedite and de-expedite production orders and sourced material to support on time delivery.
  • Manage planned obsolescence, controlling last time build, service requirements and stock at sub-sids
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships, releasing Purchase Orders, and supporting cost down activities through negotiation. Daily execution of MRP action messages and root causing material shortages.
  • Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material
  • Provide supply analysis data and recommendations as necessary. Actively uses continuous improvement tools to improve HSE, quality, delivery, financial performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Reconcile blocked invoices that are in workflow

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional team management
  • Proven ability to communicate & collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a challenging fast paced work environment
