Job Description
Perrett Laver seeks to hire a Consultant to join our fast-growing team in Central Hong Kong. We are a leading global executive search firm specialising in Higher Education, Schools, Global Development & Non-Profits, Arts and Culture, and Health and Social Care. The firm employs over 120 people and operates on a global basis with offices located in EMEA (London, Dublin, Glasgow and Amsterdam) the Americas (Chicago, San Francisco, Washington and Vancouver) and Asia Pacific (Sydney, Hong Kong and very soon Singapore and Shenzhen). We established our Hong Kong operations in 2014 and our aim and passion is to find exceptional leaders that have a positive impact on society. Consultants are the primary contact for all clients and must possess managerial and leadership skills to manage internal project delivery teams. Consultants should have a depth of understanding and insight into institutional priorities, and the ability to build and maintain positive client and candidate relationships. In the role of Consultant, we wish to hire a dedicated professional with a service mindset who is driven by innate curiosity and a desire to help drive positive institutional growth and change.

We are seeking people with the following:
Education

A graduate degree or Masters degree;

Experience

The successful candidate will have experience working in any of the sectors Perrett Laver serves including, but not restricted to, education institutions, government and charities;
The successful candidate will also have experience working with and managing relationships with senior stakeholders;
The successful candidate will have experience in professional project delivery;

Skills and Attributes

Commercially minded with an enthusiastic approach to business development;
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese;
Tenacious, committed and results-oriented;
Collaborative, flexible and able to contribute to the development of a growing team;
An understanding of higher education and strong commitment to the sector;
A shared commitment to the mission and values of Perrett Laver;
Sharp and rigorous analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding the assessment of candidates;
Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize workload;
A willingness to work flexibly;
Strong appreciation and understanding of the importance of punctuality, responsibility and discretion required for this role;

No previous experience working in executive search is required. Perrett Laver will provide rigorous and systematic training for all new hires.
