    Position Summary

    FTI Consulting is looking for a Billing Specialist with experience within the commercial or accounting sector. This role will be working within the internal finance team to support all areas of FTI Consulting across Asia Pacific. Working within a team of 4, you will be responsible for all aspects of daily billing. This position reports to the Finance Manager and will be working closely as a team member of the processing and transaction support team. This position will liaise/interact closely with Segments and other APAC offices and communicate well with external bankers.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Review client contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition
  • Ensure proper documentation for matter set up in both client management system and accounting system
  • Handle billing requests from business segments on timely basis
  • Prepare pro-forma, draft or final invoices with high level of accuracy
  • Ensure proper approvals in place for write up/off, invoice reversal/credit note
  • Act as an immediate support for all Finance aspects such as providing support to identify customer receipts and revenue reconciliation
  • Other ad hoc assignments

    Key Requirements

  • Billing experiences in law, professional services or consultancy firms are preferred
  • Degree/Diploma holder majoring in accounting subjects
  • A minimum of three years related experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and independently
  • Meticulous with good attention to details
  • Knowledge in Elite software is preferred
  • Prior experience within a regional operating structure is preferred
