Position: System Designer 系统规划师（物流仓储）

Job Responsibility

• Investigate and review customer's requirements.
• Collect customer project data, if required, and analyse received data.
• Define design parameter based on the result of data analysis.
• Develop possible solutions based on defined customer requirements / design parameters.
• Design and propose suitable sub-systems based on detailed equipments performance calculation.
• Prepare presentation (PowerPoint) and present the proposed solutions to the customer in workshop or meeting.
• To request for suppliers quotations (RFQ) for sub-systems including preparing sub-systems requirement specification, liaise with suppliers, review suppliers' quotations, define gaps between supplier's quotation against RFQ etc.
• Analyse the sub-system of the suppliers including the functionalities and the according scope of supply.
• Prepare technical descriptions of proposed system for tender submission, as well as functional descriptions.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentation of the proposed system for tender interview and clarification.
• Actively support the Sales Manager technically, during sales and tender clarification phases. He shall take a key role to convince the customer to buy the proposed system.
• Carry out detailed engineering work of the chosen system during detailed specification phase.
• Coordinate the integration and overall design between Swisslog and other suppliers.

Job Requirement

• Degree or above holder in mechanical, Mechatronics, engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years proven working experience in Industry system design
• Working experience in automated material handling system is an added advantage but not essential
• Outstanding engineering process skills
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills, sound judgment, good communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation
• Good working knowledge of MS office applications (PPT, Excel, Access, etc.) and AutoCAD
• Able to work with high independence, able to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Proactive, self-motivated, must be a good team play with strong customer focus
• Proficiency in English (oral & written) and Mandarin(oral) is a must
• Willing to travel both domestically and overseas on short notice
