MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Oversight of outsourced providers, including freight forwarders and ocean carriers
  • Identify and implement creative solutions to operational challenges and opportunities
  • Exhibit strong working knowledge of global supply chain fundamentals
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate service provider and vendor performance
  • Implement procedural and technological process improvements between merchandising, vendors, 3PLs and transportation providers.
  • Build partnerships with new and existing service providers
  • Partner with freight forwarder to provide orientation and training to new vendors (existing vendors as needed) with a focus on THD shipping requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree
  • 6 years’ experience in international supply chain
  • Preferred experience in the areas of: trade management, pricing, operations management, transpacific shipping
  • Proficient with Microsoft software suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word)
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) in English and Mandarin Chinese
