Duties

The appointee will be required but not limited to:

  • provide technical support to staff and students;
  • install, support, maintain and troubleshoot various computer systems including desktop equipment and software and teaching AV equipment;
  • provide IT/AV support in events and functions;
  • assist in hardware and software procurement;
  • perform stock taking and inventory management;
  • perform other duties as assigned by Head of ITSO or his/her delegates; and
  • work on multiple campuses and shift duties in evenings and weekends on a roster basis.


Requirements

Applicants should:

  • possess a recognized sub-degree in related disciplines;
  • have relevant working experience and be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • have good knowledge of IT/AV equipment;
  • be proficient in computer applications including MS Office, Outlook and Chinese word processing;
  • have experience in IT/AV field and higher education support would be an advantage;
  • have strong troubleshooting abilities;
  • have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • have strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently on projects as well as collaborate with the team.

Immediate availability would be an advantage.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
