Job Description
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Accountant to join our growing team. This position reports to the Finance Director and is a great opportunity to develop your Accountancy career within a Global TIC business.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with local GAAP and IFRS GAAP
- Record accounting transactions accurately and efficiently on a timely basis to ensure tight reporting deadlines are met
- Meet monthly/quarterly accounting requirements: monthly / quarterly accounting closing, expenses auditing for local purpose, accounts reconciliation, physical counting of fixed assets and inventory for internal control and annual auditing etc.
- Achieve local tax work: VAT online certification, issue VAT invoice, monthly / quarterly tax report preparation, other local tax related follow up etc.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Good numeracy and analytical skills
- Observe the professional ethics in all functional aspects and maintain a good attitude while ensuring confidentiality of the proceses handled
- Work in a conscientious, initiative and patient manner with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills and team work spirit
- Self-motivated, well organized professional able to work with minimum supervision while possessing strong executive ability
- Strong IT knowledge (MS Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
