Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management for global deployment, local initiative and process improvement.( desk-side applications or infrastructure )
- Rebuild / Improve for the IT operation process, working instructions and knowledge base management.
- Ensure support is provided for:
o Laptop and desktop computing
o Application / Server availability and effective capacity and performance planning
o Connectivity Services (including Blackberry, mobile phones, iPads, iPhones, Aircards, PABX, Remote Access, Local Area Network and Wide Area Network)
o Local administration of infrastructure and application resources as needed
- Support day-to-day IT Services in Shanghai R&D site, and build a strongly relationship with local customer at all levels
- Ensure delivery of IT service to the business within agreed SLAs / SLOs including trending over time
- Identify New Technologies that will Improve The Business / Function
- Provide supports to local engineering community, and ensure engineering group follows standard, procedure, policy in day-to-day operations
- Provide input on proposals for infrastructure upgrades / refresh
- Drive root cause analysis on problem management.
- Continually support the ”Voice Of the Customer” (VOC) for IT services and driving improvements in IT customer satisfaction levels
- Ensure security and alignment with Honeywell Standards / Compliance Requirements
- Maintain site-based inventory accuracy for infrastructure assets
- Help Budget, Manage, Monitor and Improve Effectiveness of IT Spend
Skills and Experience
- Basic Qualification:
- BS degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years IT infrastructure or application delivery experience
- Microsoft VISO for process mapping with logical thinking to dress the waste for the process.
- Full project life cycle management experience
- Basic Six Sigma Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of desktop, LAN system technologies and mobility services
- Strong communicate skills at all levels of the organization with ability to influence others
- Experience in delivering infrastructure services across multiple sites
- Good command of written and spoken English
- 24/7 availability in emergency situations
- Experience with smart devices (iPhone, iPad, etc)
- Knowledge/experience with Office 2007 and O365
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Security/SOX/ITAR IT Audits
- Strong business acumen
- Broad technical expertise in varied architectures
- Ability to set clear expectations & goals and hold people accountable to them
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work-streams
- Knowledge of Infrastructure & Applications
- Knowledgeable in service delivery techniques and disciplines, ensuring full adherence to standards and ITIL framework
- ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma certified will be a plus
