Job Description

[Head of Application Support & Service Manager]
This role is responsible for service improvement process to mitigate key risks and repeated service issues. In addition, the position will be the first line prod support and accountable for in country / global system availability/ stability aligned with business requirements for all applications supporting ANZ Taiwan.
The major responsibilities of this role is to
  • Improve country service management quality
  • Coordinates disaster recovery exercises between Global/local support teams and local users
  • Support and be accountable for all system availability and stability
  • Manage performance of outsourced application support services
  • Manage the staffing of the in-country Application support and service management team
  • Be responsible for technology business/financial management requirements

The responsibilities of a Head of Application Support and Service Manager, include, but not limited to:
  • In charge of service improvement process to mitigate key risks and/or repeat service issues.
  • 1st line prod support and accountable for in country / global system availability/ stability aligned with business requirements for all applications supporting ANZ Taiwan.
  • Manage performance of outsourced application support services to ensure service indicator and turnaround time of incidents/ problems are under agreed SLA specified within Scope of Work.
  • Deliver application new initiatives and projects to meet business strategy and business growth within agreed timeframes, budget, and quality.
  • Maintain, review and update an inventory of all systems documentation required.
  • Manage the staffing of the in-country Application support team, including resource planning, recruitment and professional development.
  • Coordinates disaster recovery exercises between Global/local support teams and local business users.
  • Responsible for technology business/financial management requirements i.e. annual budgeting, purchase processing, payments, IT asset depreciation etc.
Requirements:
  • University degree in an IT or computer science discipline with 10+years of relevant technical experience, within banking industry is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful managerial level staff management within an IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in technology service management, especially on High Priority Incident & Problem handling.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to converse, read & write in both Chinese and English may be needed in the day to day job requirement
  • Positive and Passionate with a Can-Do attitude
