Job Description
Job Profile:
As Controls Sales Engineer he supports the sales engineer in specifying and pricing the control system for the Baggage Handling System. He composes the controls sections and prepares prices and bidding documents as part of the quotation. When necessary, he joins the meeting with client.
The controls sales engineer must have the ability to explain to the customer the functionality of the control system, based on the customer’s requirements and compared with Vanderlande Industries system design rules and specifications.
The controls sales engineer must have the ability to finish off control system concept and quotation documents of uncomplicated projects independently. He will work on several projects simultaneously and contribute to system concepting and preparing quotation documents for large and complicated projects.
- Work according to the SE process
- Develop the best controls solution for BHS (LLC and HLC)
- Introduce/ present controls related topics to customer
- Fill in the Compliancy List correctly for controls part
- Discuss and influence the customer on above topics
- Price calculations according to CAP rules
- Support on liaising with controls subcontractors to clarify technical/cost/scope issues
- Support sales engineers on projects in sales phase
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to work on international environment or abroad projects
Support sales for other activities
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor degree with Controls Engineering
- At least 3 year working experience on electrical & automation (Automated Material Handling will be perfect)
- State of the art technical knowledge on automation system level
- Good communication skills
- Multi-tasking and good time management skills
- International working or learning experience
- Fluent English in both writing and speaking
- Open mind and eager to learn
- Team work sprit
Willing to travel
