About The Role
Role Location: Shanghai
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

As the Associate for Research & Analysis Reporting, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and for effectively managing the risks that are inherent in the asset class in the client’s business model and industry. In this role, you will work in collaboration with Local Corporate Relationship & Credit teams in delivering risk analysis and client support. You will also help the broader team in identifying client needs and sales opportunities.

Your key accountabilities will include:
  • Assist in the achievement of revenue growth targets for the Institutional Client Group
  • Together with Relationship Managers, attending client visits to develop an understanding of the their business model and industry
  • Maintenance of the portfolio credit quality and ensuring that limits remain within agreed risk appetites
  • Ensuring adherence with credit policies & processes and ensuring that audit requirements are satisfied
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
  • Experience in credit analysis across the Institutional Banking and Large Corporates space
  • Broad understanding of structured finance, loans, trade finance, and global markets
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
  • Academic background in Finance or Accounting
