1. Handle optical tooling like optical frame, Visio and others. Need to control tolerance and suitability for mechanical part.
2. Designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing of optical systems in simulated reality systems which can meet the whole system.
3. Ensuring the optical system prototypes designed have line of sight into mass production and closely partnering with the Product Engineering team to ensure the designs can be transitioned into product development.
4. Work closely with various core tech teams and other organizations to define prototyping scope and applications towards various technology roadmaps and product.

1. Bachelor degree or above, in optical engineering, optical science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering preferred.
2. 5+ years of work experience in optical design and tooling/assembly in AR/VR product development.

3. Innovative spirit with ability to track the trend of technology development and familiar with industrial sources. Able to show examples of optical and fabricated designs?
4. Familiar with mechanical software packages such as Creo and Solidworks is desired, 2+ years’ experience designing with mechanical CAD development tools (i.e. ProE or SolidWorks) is desired Working knowledge and experience with color science and colorimetry is a plus
5. Fluent in English with great intercultural social and communication skills with strong ability to work on international teams.
