Description
Objective of job
  • Support BBAC in the of Bodyshop TPL for coordination of the installation, commissioning and ramp up of the launch for Shunyi Plant Beijing.

Task description
  • Communication and coordination
  • Be responsible for the communication and coordination for all the project overall issues Create and monitor an open points list and prepare reports for the current status. Periodically report on status of scope work.
  • Management summary and project marketing
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports on a weekly base. Develop and improve management reports as well as general reporting within the body shop team.
  • Be responsible for the project documentation (i.e. project reports, blogs, vlogs and video documentation) and develop a marketing strategy for Daimler internal use.
  • Control of the time schedule and quality
  • Help make a general time schedule and a plan for every phase of the project.
  • Verify the overall technical schedule for installation, commissioning and ramp up.
  • In the execution of the plan, control the progress and make report on the design and progress of the project.
  • Be in charge in check and acceptance of important milestones for installation, commissioning and ramp up phase.
  • Project Assist

Qualifications
Qualification
  • Education
  • Master of Science in Industrial Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Process Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Engineering
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in project management / or equivalent professional training
  • Specific knowledge
  • Experienced in project management, automotive development and supplier-management;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Specialized for manufacturing, cost optimization and quality management;
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently, preferably also basic German;
  • Intercultural competence;
  • Outstanding communication behavior comes naturally for you as a team player.
