Your responsibilities:
- You help build up a DAS team in Shanghai
- You support the Country Engineering Manager China as technical contact person regarding DAS project opportunities
- You are involved in initial concept development and project setup for local customers
- You develop autonomous driving software components on automotive hardware
- You adapt and implement algorithms for local Driver Assistance projects
- You present our Driver Assistance products and services in local customer meetings
- You provide technical support to our local customers
- You are closely aligned with our development centers in Germany
Your profile:
- You have a strong background in algorithms
- You are familiar with some of the following topics: sensor data fusion, Kalman filter, free space extraction, path planning, electronic horizon, robotics in general
- You are experienced in C++ and/or C
- You are familiar with the EB Software Project Execution processes (SPE)
- You have some experience in project management
- You have no fear of working with hardware
- You have cultural empathy and enjoy working in China
- You work autonomously and in a self-reliant way
- You are a problem solver and team player
- You are skilled in communication and presentation
- You are able to communicate and network on cross-location level
- You are willing to travel
- Your English is excellent, both in writing and speaking
- Ideally, you speak Chinese and/or German
