Job Description

Main responsibilities

Reports to the Head of Public Affairs in China. The Public Affairs Associate Director/Director is expected to play an important role within the team to,

• Drive effective planning and execution for corporate communications to continue increase the Gilead brand awareness in China

• Lead on the disease education campaign & activities as well as communications around new product approval/launch to contribute to the success of local business strategy and development

• Support the delivery of high-quality staff communications to help enhance employee engagement

• Partner with global and regional colleagues to ensure the communication consistency and in supporting the global/regional initiatives

• Contribute to the communications on China grants program and with patient communities

• Provide input to the content planning and implementation for corporate WeChat accounts for both internal and external audiences

• Manage agencies for effective and efficient work delivery

Requirements

• 10+ years’ solid experiences on communications and public relations

• Proactive and efficient, be able to work independently with minimum supervision

• Strong content development skills in Chinese

• Very good English writing and speaking

• Experiences on social media

• Positive, pleasant, good interpersonal skills

• Responsible, result driven and strong sense of ownership

• Experiences with healthcare industry is a plus
