Student Affairs Office (Hall Management Section)
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Hall Management Section of the Student
Affairs Office. He/she will be responsible for annual review of the Hall Point System, hall admission
and allocation of hall places; and administration, planning and development of student
accommodation services. The appointee will also provide assistance to the Section Head in the
review of hall policies, arrangement of meetings, drafting of meeting papers, conducting of survey
and provision of information and data for senior management.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification working
experience, preferably at the executive level in tertiary institutions and/or student hall
management. They should be highly self-motivated, attentive to details and able to work under
pressure to meet tight deadlines. Applicants should also be a good team player with excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; high proficiency in both English and Chinese languages
(including Putonghua) and good computer skills are essential. Knowledge in hall admission systems
will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
