• Responsible to perform key Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) activities including building facilities within one or more BASF projects.

Main Tasks:

• Support the Project/Engineering Manager with regard to Civil engineering and/or Civil construction issues.
• Coordinate, monitor & control all key civil Engineering activities towards contractor or engineering partner’s work at the individual Project.
• Work in detailed calculation and drawing as needed for some Projects
• Monitor resources, deadline, performance and costs regarding to civil discipline at projects.
• Represent the owner interests in the project towards Engineering contractor/ partner, Vendors, construction companies etc.
• Prepare Cost Estimate, supervising or preparing of Basic Engineering documents and Technical Bid Evaluation.
• Establish local know-how and market contacts in the relevant discipline and share with other/new project teams in BASF Asia Pacific and globally.
• Cultivate junior colleagues as a mentor, improve their civil engineering competence
• Coordinate relevant discipline activities, such as Plumbing & drainage, HVAC, Maser-planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with major in Civil engineering
• More than 8 years total work experiences, more than 6 years work experiences in civil engineering field for petro-chemical, chemical & pharmacy industry
• Work experiences under an inernational enviroment will be an advantage
• Solid knowledge in civil/structural engineering, mandatory; Solid knowledge for Chinese civil discipline code/ standard
• Good skill of spoken and written English; Preferable to have cost knowledge of civil works; Preferable to have knowledge of civil construction; Preferable to have architecture knowledge
• Basic knowledge for International civil discipline code/ standard; familiar with American or European code/standard will be an advantage
• Preferable to have experience in coordinating relevant disciplines, such as Plumbing & drainage, HVAC, Maser-planning
