The Consulting division provides custom research solutions that help clients achieve specific goals and objectives across a wide range of country markets and industries making for a fast-growing, dynamic, and challenging working environment. We are currently expanding our research capabilities in China to address growing demand for market intelligence both from our local and international clients. We are now recruiting for the position of Consulting Analyst.

The Consulting Analyst role is central to the running and further growth of Euromonitor’s ad hoc research capacity. Consulting Analyst must be self-starting, autonomous individuals willing and able to take on full personal responsibility for delivering projects to full client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Secondary research on industry/company sources
• Primary research (Trade interviewing), direct contact with companies and industry bodies
• Preparation and writing of company/industry reports and/or management summaries
• Validating market data, including integrity of company and brand information
• Scrutinising data proactively and as a result of client queries
• Working directly with clients on a regular basis in conjunction with research consultants, including delivery of findings in face-to-face/conference call/ presentations

Required Skills

• Research track record, proven skills in desk research and trade interviewing
• Experience of quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Strategic report writing skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• English fluency a must (both written & oral)
• High level of numeracy
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• One year full time working experience. Fresh graduates with research experience can apply too
