Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvement alternatives to increase/optmize yield, efficiency and performance;
• Develop process if necessary, perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and process validation, determine process capability (CPK), and define quality control plans;
• Provide support to the production line for troubleshooting;
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor which arise.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree or above, major in automation, or optical telecommunication;
• A minimum of five years of experience in the fiber-optics industry or a related industry;
• Process engineering experience in the fiber-optics industry, as noted above;
• Rigorous, proactive and enthusiastic;
• Good English speaking/writing/reading skill
