  • 5+ years’ experience in investigating or persecuting crimes or violations included but not limited to briberies, unfair competition, counterfeits, frauds and marketplaces abuses;
  • Self-motivated and are able to conduct investigation independently;
  • Has a strong ability in information collection, conducting fact-based analysis and logic thinking;
  • With high ethical standards, self-discipline and has a good sense of confidentiality;
  • A good team player with strong communication and coordination skills.

CN Legal is seeking a talented individual to fill the position of investigator in the Ground Enforcement Team to conduct offline investigation of abusers on Amazon's worldwide marketplaces and bring them for prosecution by CN law enforcement. The position will be based in Beijing, China with major responsibilities as follows:

  • Conduct offline investigation with or without support from outside counsels or private investigators on counterfeits, fraudsters and other abusers on Amazon's worldwide marketplaces.
  • Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to collect evidence through investigation, interview, analysis and other effective means on potential marketplace violations and timely report cases to law enforcement.
  • Maintain working level relationship with law enforcement to drive investigation and prosecution result of bad actors.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver strong messages on attacking counterfeits, frauds and other bad actors.
  • Handle other work delegated or assigned by the senior investigator or line manager.

  • A CN background and good network with law enforcement authorities, e.g., Public Security Bureau (“PSB”), State Administration for Market Regulation (“SAMR”), General Administration of Customs (“GAC”), PRC Courts and etc.;
  • Candidate used to work in PSP, Interpol or enforcement team in a MNC or an internet marketplace is preferred;
  • English proficiency is not a must but strongly preferred;
  • Knowledge of PRC Law and law enforcement practice is a plus.
