Job Purpose

The Support Analyst provides front-line technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software and peripherals. They will also be responsible for responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve help desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Perform user administration duties
• Support other IT staff in order to increase technical and operational capability.
• Share subject matter expertise across the team in order to enhance team effectiveness and ensure quality of support activities.
• Perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention.
• Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and VC equipment
• Support infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, switches, wifi controllers and firewalls.
• Support physical and virtual Windows servers which include design, deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to manage, prioritize tasks and able to work under pressure.
• Always adhere to the firm’s IT security policies and best practices.

Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma holder in IT Computer studies field.
• The willingness and ability to be “on call” per regional instruction.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Support Analyst, Windows Systems Administration or related field
• Ability to work well with people
• Strong communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting AWS workspace.
• Experience supporting LifeSize UVC/Polycom.
• Experience supporting Fortigate Security Appliance .
• Experience supporting Meraki AP/Switches.
