Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team to ensure the company's quality standards and procedures are met;
• Provide guidance and training in quality assurance, quality control, factory assessments;
• Work closely with factories on implementing Corrective Action Plans;
• Review inspection results and when necessary conduct inspections/audits as required;
• Prepare and submit management reports;
• Plan QA team inspections schedule;
• Lead by example in integrity, work ethic, efficiency and productivity;
• Work with the QA Manager in developing / implementing / documenting QA initiatives;

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quality Management or equivalent
• A minimum of 8 years QA experience in trading or buying office in which at least 4 years in supervisory position
• Strong technical knowledge of footwear item is a must
• Good understanding of garment manufacturing process
• Familiar with Social Compliance requirements
• Organized and detail-minded with multi-tasking capabilities
• Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willing to travel
• Computer literate
